Why 1-2-1 PC & Web Services?
How did I get into PC Support and Web development? Following University, I worked for Mercer HR Consulting for a few years as a Technical Analyst helping to develop and deploy the UK component of Mercer’s global intranet. I also trained users and administrators in its everyday use in their business processes. In addition, I worked on various customer facing websites and Content Management Systems.
Following this, I worked in similar roles for NDS as a Technical Consultant and then Fidelity International, the NHS and Retail Decisions, work included SQL and ASP/PHP. From this, as a career break, I spent a few years working for the Richard Mayo Centre (part of Kingston United Reformed Church) in building Operations.
In my heart, though, I had two strong interests – to start my own business and to return to IT and web development. Thus began ‘1-2-1 PC &Web Services’ concentrating on the support aspects of PC work and web development/plugin design.
I’m an active member of Kingston URC and work for a mental health charity, as founding member and Technical Director of The BDD Foundation. I also partner with various professionals when working on new projects, as and when required.
The bottom line – I can help you to improve your PC, provide PC Support and help you develop a web presence.
